Lake Arrowhead
Rachel and I decided take a day trip up to Lake Arrowhead. We left at like 7:30 and got up there around 9:00, because I wanted to get up there early so that we could go for a run while its still morning. So we enjoyed a nice morning run and then we played some tennis and beach volley ball at the UCLA conference center. Then we went into Blue Jay to get a raft from Rite Aid, because Rachel really wanted to just float around in the lake. Before going to the lake to float around we were in the village and we were deciding on a place to eat. So we look around and we both decide that we want to go to McDonald's, now I haven't been there for years, but it is just kind of the place to go in Arrowhead. And it's also two story and looks over the lake. I had the two cheeseburger meal and took it down! All of it! So yeah then we went over to Tavern Bay and just hung out for like three hours, it was amazing! I love the mountains! I mean come on only a hour and half and you can be away from the city up in the mountains, breathing that fresh air, sounds like my kind of place!

Finn and Franco
So it's been way too long since I have put any updates on here! I apologize! Last week my Uncle Scott called me up and asked me to babysit the boys, Finn and Franco! So Sara and Scott went out to Vegas for a couple of days and I had the boys. Now most people would read this and be wow Nate do you work or go to school or anything! Let me justify myself by saying yes I got to school when it starts on the 16th of august and I work 3 days a week and I happened to be off those day. Anyways yeah the first day I had the boys I took them to the beach. One funny story from the beach is when Finn started to run away from Franco and he could not catch up, so he threw up his arms and just started yelling as loud as he could at Finn. Then he started throwing sand up, during this time Finn is still just booking it away. It was pretty funny. Well yeah then we went to Dana's with the boys to go for a little swim after the beach. Dana got them pizza and teenage mutant ninja turtle's, they were in heaven.
On day two we went to Chuckee Cheese and then swimming again at Dana's after. Swimming is mandatory I figured out to get them to sleep without any hardships! It was so funny at Chuckee Cheese when the boys both went up in the tubes with the slides, well they have this huge play area with those tubes and its up high. Anyways so they go up there and I was like ok cool, I can hear them having a good ole time, no worries right. Well then it been a little while and they are not coming down. And I at this time was pretty much ready to go anyways. So then I realized, once they go up in those tubes, they will come down when they want to! Anyways next time I think I will direct them away from the big play place. Well they anyways it was a great couple of days with the boys! Love them

Mike and Jessi's Wedding
Well on Saturday night Rachel and I attended the wedding of Mike Gerrity and Jessi Porter, now the Gerrity's! It was a nice night out! It was at an Equestrian Center in Walnut, which made for an awesome setting. Although I must add that there was some sweating going on as we were positioned in the sun for the ceremony! It was great to see a lot of friends that I don't get to see that often. After the ceremony we had dinner and then danced the night away. That is until this ice cream truck on dubs rolled up serving ice cream sandwiches, diddy reece style, so awesome. Oh yeah I must add as Tom, Jessi's dad, was giving his toast he mentioned some Lebron jokes. He said, "Did you hear Lebron got a new cell phone, one thing is wrong it only vibrates, no rings yet!" or "Did you hear Lebron is writing a new book, it's an autobiography, the only thing is it's untitled right now!" Good Times! Well yeah I want to congratulate Mike and Jessi, they are a great couple, Im so happy for both of them! I still can't believe that they got married, I have known Mike since elementary school and Jessi since high school. Another awesome wedding!

First Post!!!
Hey everyone, we thought we should be up with the times and get a family blog going, so here it is! I also feel that rachel and I have a pretty cool life, so we mind as well share it with you all! Where to start, well the summer has been great so far. Rachel is getting the steel business down. For everyone that doesn't know, Rachel has been working for Fry Steel in Sante Fe Springs for a couple of months now. Fry is steel distributor and Rach is doing inside sales there. I am currently taking one summer school class and am working at Bank of America. I transferred over to this new banking center about two weeks ago and am really enjoying it. We live in an apartment complex where like 10 other LDS couples live, it's pretty crazy! Life is great! Well I hope many will follow our blog and I know everyone looks at blogs for the pictures so we will make sure to upload some asap!
